Mid Century Lounge Chairs

I have been to very few garage sales so far this season. We actually had our own sale two weekends ago and got rid of tons of junk. That always feels good! I just bought this pair of mid century lounge chairs off of craigslist this morning for $150. I've been looking for a pair for quite a while. The cushions are in perfect condition but I'm not sure I'm too fond of the fabric. I may have some new ones made, or attempt to drive myself insane by making some myself. I'll let them sit for a while and see how they grow on me.

  1. I'm so sad! You should have posted your garage sale on here for us locals, I would have loved to come! I've been garage sale-ing like crazy all over KC this year, it's been a rough year for garage sales. I don't know if the economy has people holding onto stuff?

  2. I haven't been out to too many sales but it has seemed pretty lean. I never even thought to post my garage sale here! We did it very last minute. I thought the vintage stuff would sell quick but it just sat and I had it priced at what I would pay (dirt cheap). I did have one lady come through that bought a lot of vintage but that was about it. I practically had to give away a giant bag of linens that I had thinned out from my collection. I think I got $3 for a giant bag of it. I didn't want to take the time to piece it out.
